This reminds me of a quote by Jean-Paul Sartre…
“People are like dice, you throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone’s circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, you can throw yourself. Its not chance or fate. Its the choice each person made.”

I have recently been playing a 14 day trial of Eve online. this graph seems about right for the learning curve. I think it will be worth it once I reach the plateau.

In the 1960’s, all US nuclear launch codes were continually set as:

0000000000

At least the codes weren’t 1-2-3-4-5 … That’s the stupidest combination I’ve ever heard of in my life! That’s the kinda thing an idiot would have on his luggage!

This is an interesting story - and very frightening too.

Keen football fan Zhang Lijun has spent the last three years training her pet cockerels to play football. Lijun, of Shenyang, northern China’s Liaoning Province, discovered that her feathered charges were fleet of foot when she picked up a discarded football from the roadside and brought it home for her cockerels. The birds took a shine to the ball instantly and can now play with it for hours
